Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. Aspen went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen an unanimity loss and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill as she managed to finish her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO during the second round. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the opening round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters received an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 at ESPN. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
