Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress known for her performances across a range of genres in film television and theatre. Anne isn't aware of being approached with the name of John Carpenter or being offered the job. Perhaps one of her representatives declined the part on her behalf, without ever informing her. Glen Larson, who had sent her the very first draft script of a part of the TV series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, at first, she was chosen. She initially rejected the role because the character didn't seem strong. Glen created a completely different character to play Sheba, which was much more powerful. She was able to accept the Living Legend's script after having read the first 25 pages. It lasted for just one season. The actress co-starred on Joyride with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
