Katheryn Winnick
Canadian actress, director, and producer Katheryn Winnick starred in the critically acclaimed, Emmy award-winning television series Vikings that was created by MGM and The History Channel. The episode that Winnick starred in was directed in 2020. It also featured her character as lead in the series Vikings. Entertainment Weekly stated that her character as "Lagertha might be the most thrilling feminist on TV." Alongside the Women's Image Network Award in 2018 for Best Actress in A TV Series, she has been recognized for a number of additional prestigious awards including the Critic's Top Award in 2017 to be the best Supporting Actress and the Canadian Screen Award in 2014 to be awarded for best performance of a Lead Dramatic Actress. Additionally to these high-profile nods Katheryn won the Serendipity film's Award of Excellence at the Banff World Media Festival in 2015. She was also chosen to serve as a member of the jury for the upcoming Cannes Series festival.
