Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenezon September 2, 1966)[3][4][5]), is an American and Mexican actress. In Mexico she started her career by playing the character in the role of Teresa in the television series (1989-1991) and El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she was nominated for an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) are just some of her numerous Hollywood credits. Hayek's role as Frida, the painter, in Frida (2002), which she also directed as well, produced by Hayek, made Hayek the first Mexican actor to be awarded the Academy Award [6]. This also earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination, Screen Actors Guild Award nomination, and British Academy Film Award nominations. The following years, Hayek focused more on producing while starring in the action-centered pictures Once Upon a Time in Mexico
